*** Ghana Declares Monday Public Holiday For General Elections.

Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo has declared Monday a public holiday to facilitate the conduct of general elections.

He says the declaration is to ensure strict observance of Covid-19 safety protocols on election day and enable registered voters to exercise their franchise.

More than seventeen million registered to vote to elect a president and two hundred and seventy-five members of parliament.
