The National Council of Traditional Rulers has paid the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu a visit to commiserate with the state on the recent destruction of properties by hoodlums in the aftermath of Endsars protests in the State.
A delegate of the council led by the Etsu of Nupe, Yahaya Abubakar, after a close door meeting with the governor at the state house Marina, condemned the attacks.
The monarch who also emphasized the need for dialogue in every crisis, urgedNigerians to embrace peace at all times.
The council also promised to continue to play their leadership role and complement government’s efforts in ensuring peace and tranquility in the state.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu appreciated the council for the visit, with a and promise that his administration would continue to promote culture and tradition in the state.
Present at the visit were, Olugbo of Ugbo, Akinrutan, Oba of Ikate Elegushi Kingdom, Saheed Elegunshi, Oniwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul Rasheed Akanbi, among others.
