Lagos State Universal Board, LASUBEB has commended and celebrated the Primary pupils that emerge first at the President Inter-SUBEB School debate in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Education, to commemorate the sixtieth Independence of Nigeria that was held in Abuja.
The Chairman LASUBEB, Wahab Alawiye King said the primary pupils made Lagos state proud by taking first position at the event.
Alawiye-King applauded the pupils, Elizabeth Adeleye, Animasaun Funke, Ayodele King-David, Ibrahim Wiquoyat, Olawale Agunsoju and Glover Kanyinsola, and the teachers that took time in teaching the pupils.
The pupils were awarded with certificate, Trophy and school bags, Elizabeth Adeleye emerged the best debate speaker of the tournament and was awarded a plaque.
Alawiye-King said Lagos state being the winner of this year’s debate contest has qualified to represent Nigeria at world school dabate championship coming up in the year 2021.
