Demonstrations in France over controversial police law
More than one hundred and thirty thousand people have joined demonstrations across France against police brutality and controversial new security law.
French Interior Ministry, said the protests took place in cities across France, including Paris, Strasbourg, Marseille, and Lyon.
According to the ministry, isolated riots broke out in Paris, where forty-six thousand people marched.
Organisers later said that as many as five hundred thousand people nationwide had joined the marches, with as many as two hundred thousand in Paris.
