Federal Government Vows to revoke licences of electricity installation companies.

The Federal Government has vowed to revoke licences of electricity installation companies indicted for delivering substandard jobs to members of the public.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, NEMSA, Peter Ewesor, revealed this at the inauguration of Port Harcourt Zonal Electrical Installation Contractors Certification Panel, in Port Harcourt on Monday.

Ewesor decried increasing activities of quacks in the electrical sub-sector saying they were involved in delivering bad electrical work to companies and homes.

The Chief Electrical Inspector of the Federation said the names of the companies, whose licences were to be revoked within Rivers, had been compiled and would be released to the public.
