Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Dingyad, has said the Federal Government has resolved to take decisive actions against Bandits, kidnappers and criminal elements in order to bring the situation under control in the country.
Dingyadi disclosed this to State House correspondents at the end of a meeting of the National Security Council presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The minister said the council reviewed the security situation of the country and noted with concern the increasing rate of armed banditry and kidnapping particularly in the north west and north eastern parts.
He also said Security agencies will forestall a repeat of the violence and destruction of properties that was unleashed in parts of the country in the wake of the recent #EndSARS protest.
According to the Minister, President Buhari said it will dialogue with relevant stakeholders, including the youth, in the process of maintaining peace in the country.
