WHO to recruit one hundred UN women volunteers in Africa.

World Health Organization, WHO, Regional Director for Africa, Dr Matshidiso Moeti, says the agency will soon recruit one hundred national and international young women as UN volunteers in the region.

Moeti on Sunday in a video message to mark the International Women’s Day,said she was happy to launch the Africa Young Women Champions Initiative in partnership with the UN Volunteers Programme.

According to her, WHO would sought for candidates to work in technical areas, such as family health, nutrition, disease prevention and control information management and innovation.

Other areas included; communications, external relations, general management and administration.
