Togo records first case of coronavirus.

Togo has become the fifth country in sub-Saharan Africa to confirm a case of coronavirus.

The government said a woman from the capital Lome had tested positive.

The Authorities added that the woman had recently visited Benin, Germany, France and Turkey, and was being treated in isolation.

With Egypt, South Africa and Cameroon reporting its first case earlier on Friday, there are now thirty confirmed cases of coronavirus on the continent.
