Lagos To Conduct Twenty-Twenty Major Book Review.

Lagos State Government has expressed its readiness to conduct the Year twenty-twenty Book Review Exercise as part of efforts towards ensuring students are exposed to books.

This will be in consonance with the national minimum standard, as benchmarked in the National Curriculum and Lagos State Unified Schemes of Work.

Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo, said the exercise would afford Publishers and Authors to provide rich contents that would facilitate qualitative teaching and learning processes to engineer the inculcation of twenty-first-Century skills in the learners.

She maintained that the Major Book Review provided government with the opportunity to censor books that would be circulated in Schools across the State, eliminating those that were substandard in content and unsuitable for students’ consumption.
