Lagos Government Flags-off Eight Weeks Training Programme.

As part of efforts aimed at up-skilling tradesmen and Artisans, Lagos State Government has flagged-off an eight weeks training programme.

Commissioner, Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, Yetunde Arobieke said the current administration was committed to ensure micro, small and medium enterprises sector of the State’s economy grew and flourished beyond a limit.

Arobieke who said the training would become an annual event, urged Artisans to work towards building a vibrant informal sector for sustainable economic growth.

Also speaking, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, Boladele Dapo-Thomas said the training was to ensure the tradesmen and Artisans learnt modern techniques and meet up with international standards and bring in global competition.
