Sixty-five new buses released to ameliorate hardship caused by okada ban.

About thirty-five thousand Lagosians will be transported daily by the fleet of Sixty-five buses deployed by the Lagos State Government along major routes to provide succour and ameliorate the hardship commuters might face as a result of the restriction order on the operators of motorcycles and tricycles in some parts of the State.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Lagos Bus Services Limited, Idowu Oguntona, stated this in an interview with Journalists at an event of the official deployment of the sixty-five buses by the Lagos State Government along major routes in Lagos.

Oguntona who said commuters would enjoy the pleasure and comfort of riding sixty-five buses deployed with the existing ones along those routes stated that the company was extending its services to some routes which included Ikeja to Ogba, Berger to Ogba, Ikeja to CMS, Oshodi to Ajah, Obalende to Ajah, CMS to Ajah, Inner Marina to Ajah.

The Managing Director stressed that the State government was planning to inject about five hundred and fifty medium-capacity mini buses on feeder roads in the state in no distant time.
