VP Osinbajo holds thanksgiving service to mark one year of surviving helicopter crash

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, today marked the one year of surviving the 2019 helicopter crash with a thanksgiving service at the Aso Villa Chapel in Abuja.

Osinbajo, on second February 2019, came out unhurt alongside eleven other persons in a helicopter crash at Kabba, Kogi State, during the campaign for the 2019 general election.

The vice president was joined at the thanksgiving by his wife, Dolapo, family members and his aides, including some of those who were with him during the crash.

Osinbajo, who spoke with State House correspondents after the service, said it was an awesome and incredible deliverance.

On his part, the Chaplain of Aso Villa Chapel, Reverend Seyi Malomo, said the incident was a miracle for Nigeria.

Malomo said thanksgiving was an injunction in all faiths and necessary when God did something that defied human understanding.
