Amuneke appointed as new coach to replace sacked Mido

Former Super Eagles star, Emmanuel Amuneke has been appointed as the head coach of Misr El-Makasa after the club’s former coach, Ahmed Mido, was sacked.

Mido, was sacked on Wednesday after losing Three- one to Pyramids FC on Tuesday in the Egypt’s Premier League.

Makasa, has not won its last ten league matches since her last one- nil win over Al Masry SC, in October, Twenty nineteen.

Amuneke, who was appointed head coach of Tanzania in Twenty nineteen, mutually parted ways with the team after the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Makasa is currently placed fifteenth on the league’s table.
