Lagosians and heads of units in various organizations have been charged to live an exemplary life for the younger generation as well as for the betterment of the society as well as the country at large.
An Islamic Cleric at the Lagos State Central Mosque, Imam Sakirudeen Ayinde Gafar, gave this charge at a public lecture and the seventy-five years remembrance of the Late Oba Sanusi Matiku Olusi, the Eleko and Oba of Lagos held at Iga Olusi, Alakoro, Lagos.
Gafar who was a guest lecturer at the event stated that the life of the Late king should serve as a guide and example for every head of units and family, as he was the first-ever ruling king of Lagos to practice Islam.
Present at the event were the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, a former deputy governor of Lagos, Oluranti Adebule, Islamic Scholars, amongst others. Lagosians have been charged to live an exemplary life for the younger ones
