LASTMA introduces technology curb traffic congestion

Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will be introducing technology to curb traffic congestion in the state.

LASTMA General Manager, Olajide Oduyoye, who made this known in an interview shortly after featuring on a Radio Lagos Programme, ‘Awaye’, noted that the measure would aid its officers do their jobs, and also aid the Court to administer justice.

According to Oduyoye, technology would help the Agency on some complains by the Public that Officials were mostly inefficient and ineffective in dealing with traffic issues on the roads or complaint like officials punishing them unlawfully.

The LASTMA GM stressed that gadgets would also exonorate LASTMA Officials from accusations and provide accuarate data for the government.
