Lagos Junior League

The Chairman of Epe Divisional Football Association, Segun Osinaike, says the association has outlined series of programme to help Epe Local Government team to record an excellent performance at the Twenty-twenty Lagos Junior League.

A team from Epe Local Government defeated representative of Ibah Local Council Development Area, by two-one to win the Lagos Junior League, end of the year football competition which ended over the weekend at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium.

Osinaike, who intends to organise series of friendlies in order to expose the Epe Local Government team to top-flight grassroot football competitions ahead of the league, said the victory was a sign of thorough grassroot developmental programmes in the division.

However, the former Chairman, Epe Local Government, Segun Agbaje, has assured that the team from Epe would repeat the similar feat when the Lagos Junior League kicks-off next year.
