Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has flagged off the Victoria Island-Lekki Circulation project, which according to him would span a period of six months.
Sanwo-Olu, who solicited for the support of residents said the urban regeneration was in a bid for the state government to make a strong point that it would follow through and deliver on its commitment to the citizens.

The governor also pleaded for the support of Stakeholders, workers and those that would be affected by the right of way issues due to the Road reconstruction, saying he would be involved in monitoring the project in partnership with Access Bank.
Speaking earlier, Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Aramide Adeyoye, said the project would make life easier for people and ensure the free flow of traffic.

The Construction works would be at the Muri Okunola roundabout, Ligali Ayorinde, Abila Abiodun junction, Sandfill junction, Four points by Sheraton junction, Ajose Adeogun junction, Ligali Ayorinde/Akingbola/Okene road and the extension of the Muri Okunola road to Yesufu Abiodun Close.
