The State Government has demonstrated its commitment to the total revamping of the state environment.
Chairman, Capacity Development and Training committee, Waste Management of Nigeria, Olugbenga Adebola, said this at a two day training for Waste Management Personnel in Lagos.
Adebola said in view of the traditional role of the PSP operators in waste collection, the association deemed it fit to train and retrain personnels involved in waste management in Lagos State.
He noted that the training was in line with the overall vision of governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the environment sector.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, and Water Resources, Belinda Odeleye, spoke with our correspondent at the event.
