President Muhammadu Buhari Friday in Abuja directed the Health Ministry and all the relevant government agencies to work out how the administration can deliver affordable healthcare to all Nigerians.
This was in line with the recommendation of the Senior Executive Course Forty-one of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies.
Buhari gave the directive after receiving the report on ‘Funding Universal Healthcare Delivery in Nigeria’.
He pledged that his administration would ensure that all Nigerians have access to affordable, efficient and equitable healthcare services without the risk of impoverishment.
Buhari asked relevant agencies of government to review the submission and ensure its integration into ongoing policies and programmes.
