Lagos State House of Assembly has approved the request of the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to reorder the 2019 Budget.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who lamented lack of new revenue sources for the remaining months of the year, had requested the approval of the House for re-ordering of the budget which stands at eight hundred and seventy three point five three two N873.532 billion Naira.
The Co-Chairman of the joint committees on Finance , Budget and Planning, Gbolahan Yishau commended the Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa and the House for their support in rendering service to the good people of Lagos.
In his response, Tunde Buraimoh noted that the approval to the reordering by the Governor would justify the efforts of the house in supporting the executive in delivering the dividends of democracy.
With the approval, the Speaker noted that Lagosians should expect infrastructural developments from Governor Sanwo-Olu.
