A one hundred and forty-nine bed Maternal and Child Centre located inside the Alimosho General Hospital was today commissioned.
It was commissioned by office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals and Lagos State Government.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at the Commissioning thanked the Federal government for the Facility as it would be of immense benefit to the people of the area.
The Governor stated that his administration was working hard to fullfill its campaign promises to residents, saying governance was not a lip service.
Also Speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire said the aim of the Centre was to protect the lives of women and children in the Alimosho and its environs.
The centre was named after the First Lady, Aisha Buhari.
