Lagos State will continue to remain a safe place where security of lives and property will not be taken for granted.
Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stated this at the State House, Ikeja when he commissioned one hundred and twenty Patrol Vehicles with thirty-five Motorcycles for the use of Security Operatives in Lagos State as part of activities lined up to mark his administration’s first one hundred days in office.
According to the Governor, security was everybody’s concern but government would continue to take the lead adding that his administration would always ensure a deeper balance.
He thanked the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, Chairman, Board of Trustee, Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, Oye Hassan-Odukale, Royal fathers, Security Operatives for their commitment and support.
Speaking earlier, Chairman Board of Trustee, LSSTF, Oye Hassan-Odukale, noted that Lagos was the safest place in Nigeria, saying everybody was a Stakeholder in security.
