Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu sworn in nine New Permanent Secretaries in the State Public Service yesterday; charging them to continue giving their very best, and deliver quality service to Lagosians as they take their oath of office
The Governor, who congratulated the Newly Sworn-in Permanent secretaries stated that he was happy as they had displayed professionalism, competence and demonstrated capability and capacities in their various field of endeavours.
He urged them to ensure they always put in their best for a more vibrant, renewed, and enhanced Public Service in the State, noting that they truly earned the appointments.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also advised public Servants to be dedicated to duty and develop themselves, saying they did not need a godfather but let their work speak for them.

Speaking earlier, the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, stated that the appointment of the New Permanent Secretaries was based on merit, urging public servants to be focused and continue to work effortlessly.
One of the New Permanent Secretaries, Olawale Musa, who gave the Vote Of Assurance on behalf of the others, promised that they would not fail in discharging their duties; noting that the state Public Service was blessed with capable and competent hands.
The New Permanent Secretaries were Kikelomo Sanya-Olu, Nurudeen Shodeinde, Khadijat Shitta-bey, Olawale Musa, Olorunkemi Durosinmi-Etti, Yewande Kalesanmi, Moruf Agoro, Belinda Odeneye, Olaide-Mesewaku Babatunde.
