Additional four hundred and twenty-six Lagos pilgrims on board the third flight are to land at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport later today.
The information was given by the Secretary, Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board , Rahman Ishola, while highlighting the arrangements put in place to return pilgrims back home at the Lagos House in Makkah.
According to him, the four hundred and twenty-six pilgrims had representation of Agege, Ajeromi, Badagry, Eti-Osa, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikeja, Ikorodu, Lagos Mainland, Surulere councils; and some officials.
Ishola admonished the pilgrims to strictly obey the policy of luggage collection at the Hajj Camp, Muritala Muhammed International Airport Wing in order to guarantee safety of their luggages.
At the end of today, Lagos would have airlifted one thousand, two hundred and eighty-six pilgrims from Makkah to Nigeria for this year’s holy pilgrimage.
