Nigeria, Niger Republic sign pact on ways to curtail terrorism

Nigeria and Niger Republic have signed an agreement on how to curtail Boko Haram terror and cross boarder crimes.

Minister of Defence, Mansur Muhammad Dan-Ali, signed the agreement during his official visit to Niger Republic.

The Minister said he was in Niger to strengthen existing cooperation between the two countries especially in the fight against insurgency.

Responding, President Muhammadu Issoufou of Niger, thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for providing good leadership in the sub-continent which he noted had led to successes recorded in the fight against insurgency.
