Milner best pound-for-pound footballer in Premier League – Pearce

Former England defender, Stuart Pearce, has argued that Liverpool’s James Milner is the best ‘pound-for-pound’ footballer the Premier League has ever seen.

The midfielder, has started all five of Liverpool’s victories in the one hundred per cent start to the season, completing ninety minutes on four occasions, including Saturday’s two-one win at Tottenham.

Milner has made four hundred and ninety appearances in the Premier League with Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Leeds.
